Short URL: http://chandadavis.net/?p=3129
1. Root, Stem, Leave, Flower.
2. A vascular plant have a xylem and a pholem. A nonvascular plant has no roots, stems, and are usually smaller.
3. Monocots- embryo with single cotyledon, leaf veins paraell, roots are adventious.
Dicots- Embryo with two cotyledons, leaf veins webed, roots develop from radicle.
4. Fiberous roots don’t penatrate the ground as far as tap roots do. Tap root systems are composed of one main root.
5. A producer makes its own food, a consumer gets its food from other sources.
1. Name the parts of a plant.- flower, stem, leaf, roots.
2. What is the difference between a vascular and nonvasular plant?- vascular plants have tubes that carry water up the plant, non-vascular plants dont have those.
3. What the difference between a monocot and dicot?- a maonocot has only one
cotyledon, a dicot had two cotyledons.
4. What is the difference between a tap and fibrous root?- a fibrous root system doesnt penetrate as deeply into the soil as taproots do.
5. What is the difference between a producer and consumer?- Producers produces food and consumers consumes food.
1. parts of a plant- stem, leaves, roots, flower, fruit, seed
2. Vascular plants have a large system that moves water throughout the whole plant and can grow to be large. Nonvascular however can’t move water through the whole plant and so are small and close to the ground.
3. Monocots have one cytoledon and dicots have two cytoledons.
4. Tap roots penetrate very deep into the soil and have one main root and many smaller roots to branch off. Fibrous roots grow more wide and are made up of many roots all similar in size.
5. A producer makes its own food and is a autotroph. A consumer has to absorb its nutrients from other organisms and are heterotrophs.
1. Roots, stems, flowers, seeds, and fruit.
2. Vascular plants have xylem and phloem
3. That monocot is a single seed plant while dicot is a double seed plant.
4. Tap roots have one whole root and have only root hairs on them. But fibrous roots have many roots and spread across the underground.
5. Producers are organisms that make their own food through photosynthesis or other reactions and are a food source for other organisms
1. Name the parts of a plant.stems, flowers, roots, seeds, and fruit.
2. What is the difference between a vascular and nonvasular plant?Vascular plants have xylem and phloem
3. What the difference between a monocot and dicot?Tap roots have one whole root and have only root hairs on them
4. What is the difference between a tap and fibrous root? But fibrous roots have many roots and spread across the underground.
5. What is the difference between a producer and consumer?Producers are organisms that make their own food through photosynthesis or other reactions and are a food source for other organisms
1. roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruit, and seeds.
2. The most important difference between vascular and nonvascular plants is the manner in which they take in water and distribute it to the rest of the plant.
3. The primary and most important difference is that monocots consist of seeds that are a single piecee, an example of which is corn, while dicot seeds can be split into two, like in the case of peas.
4.Fibrous root systems do not penetrate as deeply into the soil as taproots do, and they are made up of a large number of roots that are all similar in size. Tap root systems are composed of one primary root which is thick and penetrates deeply, while other smaller roots grow off of this primary root.
5. A producer makes food for other consumers which take in the food that the producers make.
1. Stamen, ovary, pistil, petal
2. Nonvascular lack height and leaves
3. Diocot is two and monocot is one
4. Fiborous consists of many small roots, tap is few large ones.
5. Producer creates the energy, where consumer uses it.
