Oval~having the general form, shape, or outline of an egg; egg-shaped.
Yolk came out of the oval shaped egg i cracked.
Oviform~having a shape resembling that of an egg
The eggs that I bought were oviform.
Hist
Histology~the branch of biology dealing with the study of tissues
We learned what histology meant in my 6th grade class.
Histogenesis~the origin and development of tissues.
When my body was being formed histogenesis occured.
oviparous-egg laying
Dogs are oviparous.
oval-ellipse: a closed plane curve resulting from the intersection of a circular cone and a plane cutting completely through it
In art we drew ovals.
helicopter-an aircraft without wings that obtains its lift from the rotation of overhead blades
When my mom had to go to the emergency room we flew in by a helicopter.
chiropteran-bat: nocturnal mouselike mammal with forelimbs modified to form membranous wings and anatomical adaptations for echolocation by which they navigate
We saw many chiropteran in the cave.
histology-the branch of biology that studies the microscopic structure of animal
or plant tissues
We studied histology in science today.
histolysis-is the decay and dissolution of organic tissues or of blood.
Histolysis is one of our vocab words, we learned that it means the decay of blood.

1. ovi (egg) oviparous- egg-laying
An oviparous animal is any animal that lays eggs while giving birth.
ovi (egg) oviducts- a tube conducting the egg
We learned about oviducts in science.
petr ( wing) helicopter- an aircraft
I have never rode in a helicopter before.
petr (wing)
petrodactyl- extinct bird
A petrodactyl can be large or small.
Ovi (egg) Oviparous- producing young by means of eggs that are hatched that have been laid by a parent
Oval- having a rounded and slightly elongated outline or shape, like an egg
Birds are oviparous, because they lay eggs.
When i draw circles, they end up looking like ovals
Pter (wing) Pterosaur- an extinct warm-blooded flying reptile
Chiropteran- an order of mammals that comprises of bats
An archeologist found skeletons of pterosaurs.
At night you can see many chiropterans otherwise known as bats.
pter (wing) pterodactyl, helicopter, pterosaur, archaeopteryx, chiropteran
1.) Pterodactyl
any of various pterosaurs (suborder Pterodactyloidea) of the Late Jurassic and Cretaceous having a rudimentary tail and a beak
Some animals have Pterodatyl wings.
2.) Helicopter
an aircraft whose lift is derived from the aerodynamic forces acting on one or more powered rotors turning about substantially vertical axe
I have never rode in a helicopter.

hist (tissue) histopathology, histolysis, histology, histogenesis
1.) Histolysis
a person who studies tisues
My grandfather is a histolysis.
2.) Histology
the study of tissues
Some people study histology
1.pter (wing)
Pterodactyl- A bird like figure that lived in the prehistoric ages.
I wished I know what a Pterodactyl looked like.
Helicopter- Is a hovering craft that has many uses.
I flow in a helicopter a year ago!
2.hist (tissue)
Histolysis- a person who studies tisues.
My sister is studing to be a histolysis.
Histology- Is the study of tissues.
I wonder hiw people be histoloys?

ovi (egg) oviducts, oviparous, ovipositers, ovoviviparous, ovisac, oviform, ovary, oval
Ovary- a egg sac used to reproduce by females.
I heared that a female’s ovary is part of the human reproductive system.
pter (wing) pterodactyl, helicopter, pterosaur, archaeopteryx, chiropteran
Helicopters- heavy air-craft used to lift and to with rotating wings.
Hunstville’s airlines were swarming with helicopters.
hist (tissue) histopathology, histolysis, histology, histogenesis
Histology-is a bological branch dealing with tissues.
My dad loves the histology because he gets to deal with tissues.
lingu (toungue) bilingual-is when a person can speak two languages. My best friend can speak Italian and English.
language-a body of words and the systems for their use common to a people who are of the same community or nation. People like in Europe speak a diffrent language as people in th US.
sis (condition)osmosis-the tendency of a fluid, usually water, to pass through a semipermeable membrane. In the expirement we used osmosis to see if it is a fluid.
meiosis-part of the process of gamete formation, consisting of chromosome conjugation and two cell divisions. Do you know what meiosis is and what it does?
oviducts-A tube through which the ova pass from the ovary to the uterus or to the outside.
We are not studying oviducts in science this week.
oviparous-producing eggs that mature and hatch after being expelled from the body, as birds, most reptiles and fishes, and the monotremes.
I wonder if you study oviparous in high school.
pterodactyl-Any of various small, mostly tailless, extinct flying reptiles of the order Pterosauria that existed during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
I saw a pterodactyl in a dinosaur book once!
helicopter-any of a class of heavier-than-air craft that are lifted and sustained in the air horizontally by rotating wings or blades turning on vertical axes through power
supplied by an engine.
The President gets to ride in a helicopter a lot of the time.
lingu (tounge)
bilingual – to know how to speak fluently with 2 different languages.
linguist – a person skilled in many different languages
Mauhaun is bilingual.
We had to get a linguist for the Paris trip.
sis (condition)
osmosis – the tendency of a fluid, usually water, to pass through a semipermeable membrane into a solution where the solvent concentration is higher, thus equalizing the concentrations of materials on either side of the membrane
meiosis – part of the process of gamete formation
ovi (egg) oviducts, oviparous, ovipositers, ovoviviparous, ovisac, oviform, ovary, oval
