neucleus- the main control of the cell. membrane- the wall between the inside and outside of the cell. cell wall- a rigid surrounding around the plasma membrane of the plant cell.

  2. Becky Stewart - 4th Period

    ~Nucleus- controls cell activity

    ~ Ribosomes- produces proteins

~Mitochondria- breaks down sugar molecules into energy

the nucleus. the nucleus controls everything in the entire cell and tells each part of the cell what to do and how to do it.

  4. Brandon Archer 5th period

cell membrane – Flexible layer that protects the inner cell.

nucleus – The mane control center of an animal cell.

cytoplasm – A double membrane structure inside the animal cell.

  5. Zach Bennett 1st period

    1) Ribosomes brings together all the raw ingredients such as RNA and amino acids to assemble proteins

    2) a nucleas – nucleus is the “brain” of the cell and controls all activity within the cell which contains the DNA material

    3) Cell membranes surround the cell and have the ability to regulate entrance and exit of substances, thereby maintaining internal balance

mitochondria-it creates energy for the cell

lysosomes-it keeps invaders out and cleans the cell

ribosomes-it creates protein for the cell.

  7. MItochondria produce energy for the cell. It can reproduce itself.
Lysosomes are sacs of enzymes that break down old parts of the cell to be reused.
Ribosomes are where protein synthesis takes place.

  8. In an animal cell, the cell membrane directs what gets in and out of the cell, the lysosomes breakdown parts of the cell that are not of good use into tiny molecules that may be used again, and the cytoplasm is where the other cell organelles live, and where lots of cellular activities happen.

  9. mitochondria-they generate most of the cell’s supply of chemical energy

nucleus-The controller of the cell’s DNA

ribosomes- they are the components of cells that make amino acids

  10. 1. the nucleus
    2. the cell wall
    3. and the membarm

My favorite organelles are the nucleus, mitochondria, and the ribosomes. The nucleus is the control center of the cell. It gives all the orders to the organelles. The mitochondria are the power houses of the cell. And lastly the ribosomes make the proteins for the cell.

    1) Ribosomes are where protein synthesis takes place.
2)Lysosomes are membrane-bound sacs of enzymes.
3)The nucleus generally contains the genetic material for the cell.

My three favorite animal cell oranelles are:

    1. The Nucleus- it is the cells control center and holds all the dna and chromosomes.
    2. Lysosomes- the lysosomes break down old and un-needed parts of the cell so they can be reused.
3.Golgi Apparatus- its not for sure what this does, but we do know that proteins travel here and are transformed, packaged into sacs, and moved on to their final destination.

Plant cells have a wall made up of cellulose and can accept large amounts of water. Animal cells would pop if they recieved the same amount of water as plant cells and their wall is made up differently. Also plant cells have a large vacuole in the cytoplasm and animal cells do not. They both have a nucleus, cytoplasm, and a cell membrane. One last thing is plant cells have chloroplast animal cells do not.

Nucleus-the middle of the cell and it also controlls the cell.In the plant and animal
    cell.
mitochrondria-breaks down sugar into energy. In both animal and plant cells
    Vacuole-stores food, water, and waste

  16. Pamela Hussey-6th Period

My 3 three favorite organelles found in the animal cell are the Nucleus, Ribosomes, and The Vacuole. The nucleus contains the genetic information for the cell, in the form of DNA and RNA. The Ribosomes are the components of cells that make proteins from amino acids. The organelle has no basic shape or size, its structure varies according to the needs of the cell.

  17. Nucleus, the organelle that contains the cell’s DNA and is the control center of the cell.
Golgi complex, the organelle that processes and transports proteins and other materials out of cell.
Lyosome, the organelle that digests food particles, wastes, cell parts, and foreign invaders.

  18. grant butler 2nd period
Nucleus- Controls the cell. Is like the brain. Directs the activities of the cell.
Lysosome- Filled with enzymes that destroy waste in a cell.
Vacuoles- Store things for the cell like water and waste.

  19. Tonya Heathington 1st period

ribosome-are the components of cells that make proteins from amino acids.
cilia- is an organelle found in eukaryotic cells. Cilia are tail-like projections.
lysosome-are spherical organelles that contain enzymes (acid hydrolases). They break up food so it is easier to digest

  20. Kelsey Schronce 5th period

The nucleus is one of my favorite organelles it’s function is to house the majority of genetic material of a cell.
Ribosomes is another organelle i like. Its function is to carry out manuallabor in the form of protein synthisis for the Nucleus.
And the last organelle i like is the cell membrane. Its function is to surround the cell and have the ability to regulate entrance and exit of substances, thereby maintaining internal balance.

  21. I like the nucleus because it controls the whole cell.
I also like the mitochondria beacause it make suger into energy.
Finally i like the valcole beacuase it stores food and water.

  22. Maysie Spears 4th period

  23. Madeline Holifield 4th

Nucleus-control center of the entire cell
Mitochondrion- breaks down sugar to produce energy
