2. These farm animals consume up to six times the amount of fish that US consumers do.
3. Researchers feel that feeding the “tasty fish” to the farm animals is a waste.
4. Global fisheries use 13 billion gallons of fuel a year to catch fish.
5. The authors suggest leveraging the fisheries conservation for concerns over global climate change.

1) Fisheries use about 13 billion gallons of gas! There also exists the major problem of over-fishing.
2) Many people are concerned that a large chunk of the seafood produced at fisheries goes to animal food.
3) The seafood that is used on animals could be used to feed malnourished children.
4) A way to boost awareness of this problem would be to target major chain stores.
5) There is also talk of global laws that put rules on fishery and over-fishing.

3.Many ongoing seafood pay attention to the customers but ignore large-scale market impacts.
4. Fisheries contain 13 billion gallons of fuel each year just to catch and land fish. That’s more gas than 22 million cars would use.
5. Energy use would be much higher if we include the fuel used to ship fish further for processing and to market.
