Basically, this article is talking about how the world is overfishing. 36% of what the world's fisheries catch each year are ground up and fed to farmed fish, chickens, and pigs. Personally I feel that it is a waste to feed farmed animals fish that humans could be eating because it isn't even their natural diet. We could be saving lives in Periu (25% of infants are malnourished) than feeding the farm animals perfectly good food. In conclusion, I feel that the world is overfishing and that we could save alot of money, gas, and fish by feeding farmed animals their natural diet instead of ground up fish.

The food sources for pigs, chickens, and other farm animals has decreased pressure on the world’s fishers. Thirty-six percent of the world's fisheries catch each year is grounded up into fishmeal and oil to feed fish, chicken, and pigs. 25% of infants in Peru are being malnourished. Pigs and chickens globally consume six times the amount of seafood as US consumers. The farm animals have a greater impact on our seafood supplies than the most successful seafood certification program. They are trying to find a way to eliminate the use of tasty fish for livestock production.

THey are finding alternative feed sources for chickens.
Also pigs and other farm life.
It will reduce pressure on the world’s dwindling fisheries.
It will also help while contributing positively to climate change.
Said by the University of British Columbia researchers.
