I think it is that it leades to the large intestine and processes to stool, then the liver and gallbladder stores bilesand breaks down nutrients and toxins.
Chemical digestion occurs in hte stomach where acids break down the food turning it into the chyme & also happenes in the mouth wgere saliva breaks food into bolus. Blood is asborbed in the blood stream by the small insteine. The gallblader also aids in diegstion
